Frequently asked questions
How do I know which coil is compatible with my vape device?+
Use the Coil Finder: type your device name (e.g. Drag X2, XROS 4, Caliburn G2) and the tool shows all compatible coils with their ohm, watt range, and any cross-brand equivalents.
Are SMOK Nord and RPM coils compatible?+
No. Nord and RPM pods look similar but are not interchangeable. SMOK uses several distinct platforms (Nord, RPM, RPM2, RGC) that should never be confused — always check which exact pod you have.
Which coils are cross-compatible between vape brands?+
The best-known verified cases: the Baby Beast family (SMOK TFV8 Baby, Vaporesso GT Core, Geekvape Super Mesh and Eleaf HW are interchangeable), the Vaporesso GTX / Voopoo PnP / Wotofo SMRT triangle, and Voopoo UFORCE with Freemax Fireluke M. The Cross-brand page lists all 13 verified equivalents.
What is the difference between an MTL and DTL coil?+
MTL (Mouth-to-Lung) means a tight, cigarette-like draw with a high resistance (often above 0.8 ohm) and low wattage. DTL (Direct-to-Lung) means a direct inhale in sub-ohm (often below 0.5 ohm) with lots of vapour and higher power. RDL sits in between.
How do I choose the right wattage for my coil?+
Every coil shows a recommended power range (e.g. 60–80W). Start at the lower end and increase gradually until you find the ideal flavour and vapour output. Never exceed the maximum value shown to avoid a burnt taste.
